When ambigrams were gaining popularity due to the popular book Da Vinci Code, my curiosity and creativity was hugely attracted to them. Therefore, I chose Ambigrams as the primary subject for my graduation project at Art School. I created fully original ambigrams not only in English but also in my mother-script. Ambigrams are typographic units that are designed to function in multiple facets. It is a calligraphic design that has two or more interpretation as written words. Ambigrams come in different varieties – Rotational, Mirror, Figure-Ground and more.
